I decided to re-boot this blog but take the polemic out of it. Post 2020 the world is changed and it doesn't need any more people contributing to the fractious politics of today. This doesn't mean politics and world affairs aren't important because they are but in these times, if you are going to learn about the world, please learn from those who are informed and learned in their areas of expertise and knowledge. But just because my posts will no longer contain much political content or commentary, please do not turn your back on politics because politics matters so much today as does knowledge, reading and learning.
